Nurse Practitioner

An exciting opportunity is now available for a Nurse Practitioner to
work in a collaborative primary health organization as part of an
interdisciplinary team led by committed family physicians in North Bay.
Blue Sky Family Health Team provides primary health care to all its
patients, including chronic disease management programs, health
promotion & disease prevention programs.

FULL TIME NURSE PRACTITIONER
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides primary care functions and participates
in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of
programs and services for individuals, families and the community. The
NP will play an integral role in the care of the patients of the BSFHT.
The role of the NP requires a thorough knowledge of primary care
nursing and the ability to function effectively in a team environment
with physicians, other interdisciplinary health professionals and
administrative staff. The NP will hold a Baccalaureate degree or
Masters in Nursing, a certification from a recognized NP program and
licensed as a RN(EC).
Preference given to certification as a PHCNP.
