Instrumentation / Electrical Technician

A leading producer of malt has an immediate opening at
Thunder Bay in the Maintenance Department.

INSTRUMENTATION/ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, duties will include
maintaining/calibrating all instrumentation/electrical equipment
and control systems on site. This position consists of a 40
hour work and will require overtime.
The successful candidate will possess the following background:
• Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering Technician/Technologist
Diploma or Electrician Inter-Provincial Ticket
• 3rd, 4th or 5th Year Apprentices accepted.
Knowledge of the following specific areas and additional
qualifications would be an asset:
A. Maintenance, calibration, development and installation of
process control instrumentation.
B. Maintenance and configuration of programmable logic controllers
C. Micro-computer, local area networks and electronic
instrumentation, including scales)
D. Experience in trouble-shooting and repair of electrical
equipment in an industrial setting.
