HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER – 14 Month Contract
Summary: Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, this position will be responsible for: producing timely and accurate payroll and all related payroll functions for workforce of 250+ staff; assisting with coordinating the Occupational Health & Safety function for the Network; assisting with the coordination of the staff recruitment process and providing general support for the Human Resources Department.
Qualifications: Related post-secondary education in the field of Human Resources. Preferably with degree or diploma or working towards completing degree or diploma in field of Human Resources. Three to five years related experience in the Human Resources field. Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook). Related payroll experience preferably with ADP payroll software.
Experience handling and respecting confidential information. Background in Health & Safety including knowledge of relevant legislation. Highly developed organizational, time management and communication skills, both oral and written. High attention to detail and accuracy and ability to meet deadlines is essential.
Location: Thunder Bay.
