Document and Cost Control Administrator

Musselwhite Mine is a fly-in, fly out operation located 500 km north of
Thunder Bay in northwestern Ontario. You will work and live at the mine site
in a modern camp facility that includes a full gym, sauna, recreation
centre, and activities. Wherever you call home, a travel allowance will be
provided to reach our charter service in Thunder Bay, which will take you to
and from the mine site.

Document and Cost Control Administrator

You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining all documents and
specifications pertaining to project design including drawings, test
procedures, and test results. You will track drawings and design-based
documents through the review and approval process, process document issues
to the construction site, and ensure work packages have up-to-date copies of
all documentation. Monitoring costs, you will maintain correspondence
records, invoice tracking and support for financial control, and coordinate
travel requests. Your secondary school diploma is complemented by three to
five years of experience in document control and cost accounting within
major mining or construction projects. You are familiar with design change
notices, requests for information, engineering practices, contracts, and
quality control. Proficient in Excel, you have experience in database
programs and FTP or Internet-based document control softwareand the ability
to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in contract administration
and with SharePoint or MS Access would be considered an asset. The schedule for this position is 14 days on, 14 days off, working 12-hour shifts.
