Finance/Human Resource Officer
Ka-Na-Chi-Hih is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to
provide Accounting/Human Resources services. The Finance/HR Officer
should demonstrate a high degree of organization, multi-tasking and
priority setting skills in a confidential atmosphere.
COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
✤ Accounting Diploma or related field and minimum three years
practical experience with a working knowledge in Simply Accounting.
✤ Ability to speak Ojibway and understanding of Anishinaabe culture
would be an asset.
✤ Skilled in current versions of word in Microsoft Office, Power Point
and Web Design
✤ Proficient in Excel to produce spreadsheets, database, charts and
budgetary reports
✤ Excellent interpersonal communication, file management with
attention to detail
✤ Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal legislation related to
Human Resources regarding employee files, hiring and resignations
✤ Prepare reports for Board of Directors, funding and Government agencies
✤ Decision making, leadership, union negotiation and environmental
awareness (H&S)
✤ Good organizational, time management and motivational skills
✤ Must possess a current Criminal Records Check and Valid Driver’s Licence
Salary: Commensurate with experience
