NW CCAC BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The North West Community Care Access Centre has an immediate need for
dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. The Community Care
Access Centre (CCAC) offers one-stop access to a broad range of
community-based health and social services and placement in long-term care
homes.

As a member of the Board of Directors, your responsibilities will include
directing affairs of the North West CCAC in accordance with applicable
legislation, approved strategic and business plans, and government policy.
Ideally, applicants will have one or more of the following:

• Experience on a Board of Directors in the broader public sector
• A sound understanding of healthcare administration
• Knowledge and experience in financial/accountability matters is key and
those with a strong financial background are of particular interest

The NWCCAC serves a diverse population throughout Northwestern Ontario and
we encourage residents throughout the region to apply. We particularly
invite applications from Francophones and First Nations persons.
