The North West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) is one of 14
LHINs in Ontario created to plan, fund and integrate local health services
including hospitals, the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC), long-term
care homes, Community Health Centres (CHCs), community support service
agencies and mental health and addiction agencies.
The North West LHIN is seeking the following individual to join its talented
team in Thunder Bay.
Business Analyst
You will be responsible for coordinating internal financial management
processes, evaluating transfer payment agency performance, leading the
procurement/contract management process and providing IT support. You
have a post-secondary degree in business administration, finance, health
administration or a relevant field. Appropriate accreditation (CA, CMA, CGA,
etc.) is an asset as is an in-depth understanding of the Ontario health care
system and its stakeholders, programs and issues. You have significant
experience in financial management with an understanding of the health
care sector along with experience in performing financial analysis and
critical evaluations of complex financial programs. You have demonstrated
experience in procurement and contract management and risk management
along with a demonstrated capacity to identify and respond quickly to
emerging issues and priorities. You have strong interpersonal skills and the
proven ability to work with multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic
environment. Experienced in IT software, hardware and network issues, you
are also proficient with Microsoft Office. French language skills are an asset.
