MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST
Located at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ontario our
Laboratory facilities are newly constructed and technologically
advanced. We require an enthusiastic professional full-time
member of our diagnostic team as follows:
MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST
Qualifications include:
• Member of College of Medical Laboratory Technologists
of Ontario
• General duty technologist
• Microbiology skills an asset
Responsibilities:
• To perform laboratory procedures as required with a high
level of technical expertise and accuracy
• General laboratory duties as required in the following departments:
- hematology
- bacteriology
- biochemistry - transfusion medicine
- serology
- specimen procurement and handling
• Must function independently, have flexibility, personal
integrity and the ability to work effectively with patients,
personnel and allied services
• Wage Range – Dependent upon experience
Potential graduates scheduled to write CSMLS exams are
