CANDO is an employee-owned company that supplies specialized services to the rail industry. The Industrial Rail Services Division, which provides railcar
switching and logistics services at various industrial sites across North
America, is seeking railway operating personnel for a new switching
operation in Terrace Bay, Ont.

• Team Leader—will be an innovative, results-focused, hands-on individual
who is interested in leading an industrial rail switching team. Successful
applicants will be innovative problem solvers that thrive in an
entrepreneurial environment.

• Locomotive Engineers and Groundspeople—will perform yard switching of
railcars in a safe and efficient manner. Successful applicants will also be
responsible for building trains according to instructions and requirements,
working within company operating rules and safety procedures, inspecting
railcars, and performing minor repair and regular maintenance to company
locomotives.

The successful candidates will have relevant CROR certification, or
demonstrate appropriate technical knowledge and experience in a railway,
construction or heavy equipment fields. Strong teamwork and communication
skills, along with a passion for safety and customer satisfaction are essential to these positions. Individuals must be in good physical condition and willing to work weekends and holidays. Full time and parttime positions
are available.
