CITY OF THUNDER BAY SOLID WASTE
& RECYCLING FACILITY – EXTENSION
TO EXISTING EAST CELL LANDFILL GAS
COLLECTION SYSTEM

Sealed tenders marked “City of Thunder Bay Solid Waste &
Recycling Facility – Extension to Existing East Cell Landill
Gas Collection System - Contract No. 16, 2014” will be received
by the Manager – Supply Management Division, Victoriaville
Civic Centre (main loor), P. O. Box 800, 111 Syndicate Avenue
South, Thunder Bay, Ontario, P7E 6S4, up to but not later than
12:00 noon, local time, on TUESDAY, AUGUST 12, 2014 and will
be opened publicly in the downstairs Board Room, Victoriaville
Civic Centre, at 1:30 p.m. of the same day.

Under this Contract: Approximately 97 metres of vertical
extraction wells (5 wells) and approximately 415 metres HDPE
lateral pipe. Provisional items include additional vertical
extraction wells and groundwater monitoring wells.

A non-mandatory site visit will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014
at 10:00 a.m.

A tender deposit in the form of a certiied cheque or Bid Bond
payable to the Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay in the
amount of $28,000.00 must be attached to the tender.
A Performance Bond for 100% and Labor and Materials
Payment Bond for 50% of the total amount of the tender will be
required from the successful tenderer.

Tenders must be submitted on tender forms, all of which,
together with the Contract documents may be obtained at the
CITY ENGINEERING DIVISION, VICTORIAVILLE CIVIC
CENTRE, 2nd FLOOR, P. O. BOX 800, 111 SYNDICATE
AVENUE SOUTH, THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO, P7E 6S4,
upon payment of $50.00 per set.

Nation in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the
total tendered amount must be attached to the
tender.
The successful bidder will be required to provide
a (100%) Performance Bond and a (100%)

Terry Fox Information Centre.

A Mandatory Site Visit is scheduled for Wednesday, August 6,
