MPP Michael Gravelle has revealed that he has a form of cancer but expects he will continue in his work as he undergoes chemotherapy treatments.
Gravelle (L.— Thunder Bay-Superior North) has an aggressive lymphoma.
“While this is, of course, very serious, I am heartened by the assessment of my oncologist that this is a treatable form of lymphoma and the prognosis for a full recovery is good,” Gravelle said.
Lymphoma is a malignant tumour of the lymph nodes.
The announcement came Monday morning at his Algoma Street constituency office.
Along with representing the Thunder Bay and North Shore at Queen's Park, Gravelle is also the Minister of Natural Resources.
