Slick roads serious threat

Thunder Bay OPP Const. David White enforces a road closure on Highway 527, just north of the Trans-Canada Highway intersection after a fuel truck overturned. The truck remained overturned in the ditch about 30 kilometres north on Highway 527, and sprung a leak of the fuel it was carrying.
Thunder Bay may avoid a major winter storm that could drop up to 30 centimetres of snow in the Northwest, but residents will need to contend with other hazards, Environment Canada said.
