McCarville crew off to pre-trials

Sometimes an opportunity will arise that is simply too good to pass up. For Thunder Bay curler Krista McCarville, the chance to compete for a spot in the upcoming Winter Olympics means that a planned hiatus will be put on hold.
McCarville will be rejoining her team of Ashley Miharija, Kari Lavoie and Sarah Lang as the squad received an invitation to the Canadian Olympic curling pre-trials being held from November 5-10 in Kingston.
The four-time provincial champion skip had previously announced in February that she was planning on stepping aside for the 2013-2014 season to spend time with her three-year-old daughter Bella and nine-month-old son Kalin, as well as further her teaching career at Holy Family School.
