Man faces more sex charges
A Thunder Bay man facing a variety of sex-related charges dating to the 1980s has had new allegations levelled against him.
Thunder Bay Police said Tuesday that Jeff Paxton has been charged with an additional 13 offences following an ongoing historic sexual assault investigation.
Paxton, 46, now faces a total of 23 charges.
Police said the alleged offences involved boys, who were between the ages of 7 and 14 at the time of the incidents.
A total of 11 victims were identified in these incidents, police said.
The offences date from 1983 to 2004 while Paxton was a counsellor at the Round Lake Bible Camp and while he was involved with Thunder Bay church groups.
