White Cedar takes over IDA
A Thunder Bay-based pharmacy company is expanding.
White Cedar Pharmacy, a subsidiary of Northern FN Health Care Services, announced Friday that it has purchased Thunder Bay IDA, a pharmacy that includes specialized support to clinics operated by Ontario Addiction Treatment Centres in its services.
The company says the acquisition, together with the alliance with Ontario Addiction Treatment Centres, will allow the organization to extend its services to more than 15 communities in Northern Ontario. Plans are to deliver pharmacy services initially in Atikokan, Dryden, Fort Frances, Sioux Lookout, Hearst and Constance Lake First Nation.
