The proposed Ring of Fire mining camp has become a key talking point for provincial parties hoping to woo Northern voters in the June 12 provincial election.
During Monday’s debate on Northern issues, NDP Leader Andrea Horwath said her party would commit $1 billion for Ring of Fire development, matching Liberal Leader Kathleen Wynne’s pledge.
