Campbell relishes positive response
Kenora-Rainy River Riding voters have rewarded hard work at Queen’s Park.
With 184 of 197 polls reporting, New Democrat incumbent Sarah Campbell was well out in front with 55.9 per cent of the popular vote.
Campbell was leading with 11,424 votes, followed by PC candidate Randy Nickle with 5,160 votes; Liberal candidate Anthony Leek, 3,222 votes; and Green Party hopeful Tim McKillop with 643 votes.
Campbell called her re-election campaign “a tremendous experience.’’
She said she received “very positive responses” from people right across the Northwest.
