Boshcoff to run for mayor

Thunder Bay voters will have at least three candidates to choose from this fall in the city’s mayoral contest.
Former mayor Ken Boshcoff, 64, said Monday he is seeking the chair, confirming speculation that he has been considering another run for the city’s top job.
Boshcoff, a current at-large councillor and a former Liberal MP, is to face off in the Oct. 27 election against incumbent Mayor Keith Hobbs, who is seeking a second term, and previous mayoral candidate Douglas David MacKay.
