TBSO presents spooktactular show

BY SYLVIE DI LEONARDO

What’s a scary movie without the sound?

Not too scary at all.

What’s the soundtrack without the movie?

Come find out for yourself!

The TBSO’s Halloween Symphonic Spooktactular features recognizable pop pieces as well as traditional, recognizable classics, alongside some cinematic favorites from Hitchcock to Harry Potter.

Youngsters will love the eclectic mix of spooky tunes, while more seasoned concert-goers will appreciate those ominous movements of more complex pieces, including Mozart’s Requiem sequence. Both are, of course, welcome to show us your best Vincent Price cackle!

Don your Halloween best and join us at Grassroots Church at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 29. All guests who arrive in costume will have the chance to win a pair of tickets to their next TBSO concert!

Tickets are available at the door, or ahead of time through the Community Auditorium at tickets.tbca.com

The TBSO welcomes concertgoers who prefer a more relaxed setting to attend the program’s free open rehearsal earlier at 2:15pm.
