“It’s Our Canada” is a non-profit, patriotic song that was written, composed, and performed in 1992 by Richard Eras, together with many other talented Thunder Bay musicians and singers. In honour of Canada’s 150th birthday, the song has now been made into a video to showcase the coast-to-coast magnificence of this country that we call home. It is free to use by any Canadian for the sole purpose of promoting Canadian pride and unity across our great nation. Please see the credits below to view all who generously and freely donated their time into creating this project.

LYRICS (so you can sing along, too):

Canada, majestic in size,

Canada, so far and so wide,

Canada, for you and for me,

And let’s keep this country together and free.

This country can last forever,

If we just pull together,

Oh come on, Canada, don’t fade away,

The resources are plenty to live on,

And the beauty around still grows on,

A country so rich and special in every way.

Canada, let’s all show our pride,

Canada, we’ll stand side by side,

Canada, let’s strive on to be,

A nation of people in peaceful harmony.

This country can last forever,

If we just pull together,

Oh come on, Canada, don’t fade away,

The resources are plenty to live on,

And the beauty around still grows on,

A country so rich and special in every way, in every way.

Canada, you still are the best,

Canada, your future’s our quest,

Canada, for one and for all,

So stand up and shout it,

It’s our Canada!

Oh Canada, our country here to stay!
