The owner of Red Lion Smokehouse is hoping to bring “retail vibrancy” to Thunder Bay’s north core by bringing retail businesses under the same roof as his restaurant and pub.
John Murray purchased the former home of live music venue Crocks last fall and is moving Red Lion from its former leased space on the corner of Park and Cumberland just down the street. But the building will also be the new home for three other local businesses — Ungalli Clothing, Big Lake Pasta and La Luna Wellness Studio.
The retail section of the building will have its own separate entrance from Red Lion and Murray said he’s excited to have the businesses in the same building as the restaurant.
