Holding the cheque

Members of The Keg presented $30,000 to Camp Quality Northwestern Ontario at last year’s Blues Festival for the proceeds of the 2017 event. Every glass of beer sold during this weekend’s Bluesfest means more money raised for Camp Quality.

For 10 years, the Keg Steakhouse and Bar has donated the full proceeds of their beer tent at the Thunder Bay Blues Festival to the not-for-profit organization.

Over the years, the restaurant has raised more than $125,000 for Camp Quality, which offers a summer camp experience for children living with cancer and their siblings as well as other activities throughout the year.

This year, The Keg is presenting the charity with the 2018 Bluesfest proceeds, an additional $30,000.
