In line to help with juvenile diabetes research

The group was joined by much of the school to raise funds for juvenile diabetes.

St. Ignatius High School students had the chance to have a little fun while raising money for a good cause in the Get on Track with Common Bonds event on Thursday.

Student’s donated more than $1,600 and took to the track to walk laps to raise funds for juvenile diabetes research.

For student organizer Lily Sutton, the event was “close to the heart.”

Sutton has Type 1 juvenile diabetes, “along with a few members in my family,” she said.
