Thunder Bay restaurant-goers could have more outdoor dining options this summer.

The city is starting a two-year pop-up patio pilot program, which will allow local businesses to build temporary, seasonal patios.

Businesses can utilize sidewalks and on-street parking spaces for the patios as long as they don’t interfere with foot or vehicle traffic flow.
