Ten people were arrested and three kinds of drugs as well as cash were seized after police raids in Thunder Bay’s north side on Wednesday.
Investigators with Project Disruption, a joint task force made up of various police services, searched suites in a Pearl Street apartment building just before 6 p.m.
Police say that the units were being used by suspected Toronto-area gang members for drug trafficking with the help of local residents.
Three suites were searched and officers seized crack cocaine, morphine, and oxycodone pills, with a street value of $7,000, nearly $40,000 in cash, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking, police claim.
