Nice day for a run

Close to 100 people took part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run on Sunday in support of Special Olympics at Chapples Park.

Keith Nutley hopes to keep the awareness of Special Olympics in the public eye.

Nutley was one of the organizers for the Law Enforcement Torch Run on Sunday.

“That is why today is so important, just bringing the awareness about Special Olympics,” said Nutley, a Ministry of Natural Resources conservation officer.

“It’s not just the fundraising, but the awareness that it’s out there and that there are opportunities for athletes.”
