Thunder Bay favourites Honest Heart Collective will close the city’s Live at the Waterfront music series this week.
The popular recording and touring rock sextet will preview new material from their upcoming record Wednesday ahead of its release next year.
Live on the Waterfront’s second season has already included feature acts The White Buffalo, The Once, Café Paris, The Dead South, Kardinal Offishall and Magic! The season’s strong momentum continues Wedneday beginning at 6 p.m. as Honest Heart Collective settles back into the city following a recording session.
“We’ve been out of town for a while recording our new record with Derek Hoffman in Toronto,” said lead singer Ryan MacDonald. “We’re very excited to be coming home to close out the Live at the Waterfront series this Wednesday. We are looking forward to playing a rock ’n’ roll show in front of our hometown fans, friends and family.”
Also performing on closing night is the four-piece alternative pop and rock band, Cold Lake Sun, as well as the four-piece pop rock band, La Reese.
Live on the Waterfront runs from 6–9 p.m. It is presented by Ontario Power Generation and is funded in part by the Government of Ontario.
