Allan, Tillie

Tilma (Tim) Tuulikki Allan passed away in extended Care Home of Vancouver General hospital on June 23rd, 2007. She was born February 24th, 1918 in Kakabeka Falls, Ontario. Maria & Herman Kinnar the youngest of eight children. She was predeceased by her parents and husband, Roderick (Duke) Allan and her siblings (sisters) Mary Johnson. Rauni Kemppainen. Thelma Masseau and brothers Hjalmar. George, William (Bill) Kinnar and Paul in infancy. She left home early in her teens to work in different places, returning at intervals. Among others she worked in Sudbury and Hornepayne, eventually moving to Vancouver. She owned and operated a Dressmaking Shop in Vancouver for several years. She was very adept at sewing and making decorative things for her home. Burial of cremains took place at Riverside Cemetery Thunder Bay, August 20th 2007.
