William (Bill) AllanWilliam Allan passed away unexpectedly, on January 9th, 2003 in his 85th year. Bill was born in England, on June 8th, 1917. Moving to Canada at an early age with his parents Edward and Jean Allan. He was in the Canadian Air Force during World War II from 1939 to 1945. Bill enjoyed life in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, skiing, walking, camping and crossword puzzles. Bill is survived by his wife Jessie (Pirie) of 38 years and by cousins Hamish Allan and Irene Atkins (husband John). Also survived by cousinsin Thunder Bay, Eastern Ontario and in the United States. Bill was predeceased by his father and his mother Edward and Jean Allan. In compliance with the wishes of Bill, cremation has taken place and a private service has been held, with Rev. Bert Vancook of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery at a later date. At this time we would like to thank Dr. Alan R.
