Andersen, Paul

Paul, the last living member of the Andersen family, who were the first family to settle in Pass Lake in 1924, passed away January 19, 2002 in Denmark, at the age of 87. He had resided in Pass Lake and Thunder Bay for 55 years prior to returning to Denmark to retire. The Andersen family operated the first Post Office in Pass Lake and Paul delivered the mail in the Pass Lake area. He also worked for the T. Eaton Co. in Thunder Bay. He is survived by his wife Esther in Denmark and numerous nieces and nephews in the Thunder Bay area and two nieces in B.C. Funeral to be held January 23, 2002 in Denmark.
