Campbell, Quinten Robert

Quinten Robert Campbell, age 14 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2009 with his family by his side. Quinten was born on February 5, 1995 in Fort Frances, Ontario, but lived most of his life in Thunder Bay and attended St. Ann‚s School and Pope John Paul II. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. He loved sports. He was involved with hockey, baseball and tae kwon do and his favourite teams were the Calgary Flames and the Dallas Cowboys/Cowgirls. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon. With all of his interest, one of the most important was Camp Quality. Being able to spend time at camp was always highlight. Quinten was a notorious "ladies man", he had his harem in every town, and made friends easily wherever he went. Quinten will be sadly missed by his mother Dana (Wayne) Gaudreau; father Robert Campbell (Jody Jackson); sister Brittany Zahn; step siblings: Chris, Kyle and Candace Gaudreau; grandparents: Sharon and Bob Walker, Karen and Wes Miller, Mike and Teresa Zahn and Faye Gaudreau; great grandmother LaVerne Geer; aunts and uncles: Nikki (Peter) McCourt, Sarah (Trevor) Shurvell, Daniel Walker, Alex Miller, Kenny Miller, Mike Zahn, Jeffrey Zahn, Jessica Zahn, Jennifer Nelson, Terrie Campbell (Tim Bodnar), Randy (Margie) Campbell, Tammi (Raymond) Irvine, cousins: Lauren, Kelsey, Layla, Danica, Ariel, Zachary, Clair, Chris, Bobbi-Jo, Daniel, Jessica, Kirsten, Sarah, Cody, Devan, Brandon, Amanda Mae and Ella (yet to arrive); God parents Lee-Ann Skirving and Robert Fish; special friend Caitlyn Pascoe and his dog Shadow. Numerous step family, other relatives and friends also survive. He was predeceased by his Nana Leona Mae Campbell; great grandpa Daniel Geer and uncles Daniel Campbell and Don McCullough. Family and friends will gather on Monday, June 15, 2009 at St. Agnes R.C. Church for the Funeral Mass at 12:10 P.M. celebrated by Fr. James Panikulam. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 1:30 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. with Vigil being offered at 2:00 P.M. at St. Agnes R.C. Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
