Drazecky, Frank Edward

Mr. Frank Edward Drazecky age 81 years, resident of Thunder Bay, died in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, on Sunday, November 11, 2007. Frank was born in Fort William and was a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay. In 1948 he married Jean Zatti. He worked for Can Car prior to working for Union Gas for a number of years until his retirement. Frank enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Fort William Country Club. His hobbies included building, especially crafting cabinets. Frank is survived by his wife Jean, brother Walter (Edith) and sisters Rose Scotinski and Stella Holgerson. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his parents William and Walerya (Vera), brother Joseph and sister Jennie. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Andrew Deptula of St. Casimir's Church officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Pinewood Court would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Frank Drazecky in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 29, 2008.
