Ferguson, David Lloyd George

At the age of 83, David succumbed to his illness on December 10th, 2007 at 9:00a.m. in Dawson Court. His wife EvaRae, sister-in-law Mary and daughter Joy (Mark) and grandson Johnathon were at his side. He was born in Strathclair, Manitoba on April 3rd, 1924. He joined the Army when he was 15 and upon finishing his service he drove car carriers for a few years, left to join the Fort William Fire Department for about 10 years and finally went back to truck driving, his true love. He is survived by his loving wife EvaRae, step-son Terry (Gloria) and family, Joy (Mark) and family, Bill (Kathy) and family and Randy (Andrea) and family. Also surviving are step-daughter Heather (Randy) and family, Jack Murray Jr. , grandson Jason (Jessie) and family as well as many other grandchildren and great grandchildren. David was predeceased by 2 daughters Jill and Pamela, and step-son Robert. At this time I would like to thank the staff of 1-North in Dawson Court for all their kindness during David's stay there. They were so good to him and myself. I would also like to thank Wendy Ames, Irma Oigima and Mary Haskell for all the support they gave me.
