Franchi, Joseph

1917-2008 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joseph Franchi announces his passing on October 20, 2008. Joe died peacefully in his sleep where he was no doubt dreaming of being reunited with his dancing blue-eyed angel Martha. Joe is survived by his daughter Patsi and son Ed (Carmen) Franchi, grandchildren Tara and Dylan Lewis and Kelly & Lisa Franchi. Also survived by sister-in-law May & Charlie Henderson and sister Julie and Benny Woit. Born on July 25, 1917 in Toronto, Joe was one of seven children. During World War II he found his soul mate in Martha McQue. The Scottish lass returned to Canada with Joe and never left his side until her passing in 2003. Joe lived in Thunder Bay all of is life and liked to frequent the city parks with his grandchildren and they will always have fond memories. Not a day will go by where we don‘t think about the love we shared and the void his passing will leave. We take solace in knowing that he is PLUGGING along in heaven.
