GRANT, ANNA CHARLOTTEThurs. May 7, 1914 - Fri. Jan. 3, 2003Born in Calgary, AlbertaMrs. Anna Charlotte Grant (nee Millican), a resident of Pioneer Ridge and formerly of 31 Elm Street, passed away at her residence on January 3rd, 2003. Charlotte was born in Calgary,Alberta on May 7th, 1914 to her parents Albert E. Millican and Edna Louise MacFarlane. Charlotte finished her high school education in Port Arthur, later trained as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a member of Trinity United Church and a Life member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Argyle Chapter #10. She is survived by her son William Grant of Calgary, AB, her daughter-in-law Lois McVey of Thunder Bay, granddaughter Monique (Nikki) Duggan of Surrey, B.C. , cousins, Robert Eakins of Cobourg, On, Warner Eakins of Stittsville, On, brother-in-law Ivan Grant of Oshawa, On and sister-in-law Laura Blanchard of Provost, QC, numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her Husband Donald Melville Grant, both of her parents, and brother Albert Millican. A Memorial Funeral Service for the late Charlotte Grant will be held on Friday, June 20th, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Church Chapel, 30 S. Algoma Street, with the Rev. Randy Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Those wishing to gather to celebrate Charlotte's life are most welcome.
