Grant, Jessie

Jessie Grant, aged 77 years, a resident of Central Park Lodge passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2001. Jessie was born in Fort William and attended local schools and was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. She was fond of animals, especially dogs and enjoyed painting and reading. She is survived by her sister Mrs. Margaret Hayes, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, brothers Peter in infancy, John, William and Hugh and sister Christine Mitchell. Funeral services forMiss Grant will be held in the Chapel of Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 S. Syndicate Avenue, on Friday, September 21, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Bert Vancook officiating. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery to follow. Friends are invited to call at Jenkens Funeral Home on Friday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations to the Thunder Bay Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
