Mr. George Heath passed away peacefully in McKellar Hospital with familyby his side, June 28, 2003. George was born in Ericksdale Manitoba onJanuary 12, 1913 to James and Theresa Heath. During World War II heserved overseas. In 1946 he moved to Fort William and worked as acarpenter until retiring in 1964. George was a member of Branch #6 R.C.Legion.George is survived by his children Lorraine Hart, Fred Heath, Eleanor Garbos, Louis Heath, Madeline Lesperance and Doreen King, second wife Gladys Heath, 33 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, sister Flora Buss and brother Ted as well asnumerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. George was predeceased by his first wife Marie, his parents, children Margaret Morrsette and Henry Heath, brothers Louis and Bill and sister Alice Pelquin.Funeral Services for Mr. George Heath will be held on Friday July 4, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Jenkens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 3, 2003 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Jenkens Funeral Home.If friends so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 would be greatly appreciated.His Journey's Just BegunDon't think of him as gone away- his journey's just begun,Life holds so many facets- this earth is only one.Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears,In a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days and years.Think how he must be wishing that we could know today,How nothing but our sadness can really pass away.And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched,For nothing loved is ever lost- and he was loved so much.His work was done.On-line Condolences atjenkensfh@arbormemorial.com
