Hupalo, Rose

Mrs. Rose Hupalo age 90 years of Angus Street passed away peacefully in Westmount Hospital on Saturday July 19, 2003. Born in the Ukraine in 1913, Rose immigrated to Canada in 1950 and worked as a chambermaid at the Princess Hotel until 1970. She enjoyed gardening and was a longtime member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection. Rose is survived by her son Nick, grandchildren Tammy, Michele and Mike (Rosell) , great grandchildren Rylan and Morgan. Numerous other relatives also survive.She was predeceased by her husband Petro on September 1, 1991. Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 25, 2003 leaving the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma at 9:30 AM for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection. Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery.
