Mr. Richard Allan Johnson, age 55 years, resident of 935 Hudson Avenue, passed away unexpectedly in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital - McKellar on Wednesday, December 19, 2001. He was employed by Abitibi Thunder Bay Division for sixteen years and latterly, with B.J. Halow & Son Constructors as a truck driver. Ricky was a kind and generous person who enjoyed daily life to the fullest.Ricky is survived by Leslie, his wife of twenty-five years; daughter Brandi; son Jeff; granddaughter Shyanne 'the apple of Papa's eye'; two daughters: Peggy and Chrystal; two granddaughters: Michelle and Derica; grandson Dayton all of Calgary AB; brother Edward (Moose); father-in-law Bob Bayes. Also surviving are numerous other relatives and close friends. He was predeceased by his father Tauno and mother-in-law Joyce Bayes on November 11, 2000 whom he loved dearly.Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 22nd at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Ivany. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Ricky's memory to the Children's Wish Foundation.
