Johnston, Greg passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday October 20th, 2008 at the age of 60 yrs. Beloved husband of Chris of North Bay. Dear father to Steven of Menlo Park, California, William and Allan both of Toronto. Also survived by his brother Dalton (Germaine) of Nipigon, sister Phyllis Chayer (Rene) of North Bay and sister-in-law Faye of Nipigon. Predeceased by his parents Elmer & Vi, and brother William. He lived his life with a sense of honour and justice and met his death with dignity and courage. He will be deeply missed by his family and loving companion Brutus. Family receiving friends at Monastery Hall, Nipissing University on Saturday October 25th from 3 until 4 pm. A memorial service will follow at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Greg to the Gathering Place or the Trinity United Church food bank will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
