Johnston, Marcelle

Mrs. Marcelle Ann Johnston, age 85 years, resident of Thunder Bay, died in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, Friday, July 21, 2000. Born in Stoney Point, Ontario, she had been a longtime resident of the city. Marcelle was a member of St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Catholic Women's League. She is survived by her sons Ron and Frank (Shirley), daughter Carole Seeley, grandchildren, Cynthia and Jeff Villeneuve, Russell and Sari Johnston, Amanda Seeley, great granddaughters Julia and Hanna, sister Valerie, Mrs. George Skidmorc, Ruscomb, Ontario, brother Gerald Levesque and sister-in-law Ilene Levesque all of Stoney Point, as well nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Walter, brothers Silvio and Leonard Levesque. Private funeral services will be held in the Blake Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Richard Kowlachuk of St. Patrick's Cathedral officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's cemetery.A tree will be planted in memory of Marcelle Johnston in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 24, 2001.
