Jurjut, Sam

Mr. Sam Jurjut, age 83 years, a resident of S. Cumberland Street passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 1, 2005 at the T.B.R.H.S.C. Born in Hungary, Sam emigrated to Canada in 1950. While in Hungary he was educated at the Agriculture University of Hungary. After he emigrated to Canada he worked for the Marathon Corporation as a bushworker and later joined the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters #628 where he earned the nickname "Stainless Steel Sam". Sam is lovingly remembered by his godson Victor Procopovici and his family. As per Sam's request cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
