Mrs. Stella Krawh, age 90 years, resident of Thunder Bay, died peacefully on Sunday, May 13, 2001 in St. Joseph's Care Group. Born in Port Arthur in 1911, daughter of John and Dora Molkoski, she grew up on her parent's farm on the Twin City Crossroads. She married John Semenick in 1929 and he predeceased her in 1936. In 1955 she was married to Peter Krawh and he predeceased Stella in 1967. For over 30 years Stella worked for the Prince Arthur and Royal Edward Hotels When she wasn't working she enjoyed her garden and she especially enjoyed her dancing at the Fort William Moose with the Friday Night Singles. Stella was also a member of the Holy Cross Golden Agers. Stella is survived by her daughter Elsie Off and son-in-law John and her son Archie Semenick and daughter-in-law Olga, nine grandchildren Louise, Raymond, Rosemary and Shirley Anne, Paul, Michael, Catherine, Barbara and Marie, 15 great-grandchildren, sister Ann Mills of Surrey B.C. , brothers Bill and Sam Molkoski, both of Thunder Bay. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. She was predeceased by her parents John and Dora Molkoski, and brother Mike Molkoski. Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 17, 2001 when friends and family will gather for Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Cross celebrated by Very Rev. Bohdan Bilinsky. Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Panachyda will be offered on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Church of the Holy Cross. Removal will be made from the Blake Funeral Chapel prior to service time Wednesday. If friends desire memorials to the St. Joseph's Care Group would be appreciated.A tree will be planted in memory of Stella Krawh in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 23, 2002.
