It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Olavi (Oliver) Kuutinen on Wednesday, March 3, 2004. He was a family man who enjoyed taking many vacations to Florida and Arizona. Oliver was a hard worker and a perfectionist at whatever task he took on. He was very talented with his paintings, along with working at Bowater for 37 years, retiring in 1988. While working at the mill, he built two homes in his spare time. He liked working with his hands fixing things, planting his garden, painting and fishing. There was nothing he couldn't do. Survived by his wife Cecile which he spent 52 wonderful years with, daughter Arlene Ceci (Philip), grandchildren Tracy Watts (Ian) of Toronto (presently here), Jason Ceci and Karen Ceci; daughter Charlotte Barichello (Louis) and grandchildren David Barichello (Karen) (enroute), great grandchildren Emilie and Ethan of Illinois, and Jeffry Barichello of Yellowknife, N.W.T. (enroute). Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 8, 2004 at 10:00 AM in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma with Rev. Ed Long officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation for friends will be on Sunday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM in the EVEREST CHAPEL.
