Laing, Otto

Passed away on November 12, 2001 at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, following a tragic accident in Terrace Bay, Ontario. He was born in Norris Point, NFLD. on May 20, 1944. He will be sadly missed by his wife and best friend of 32 years, Shirley. Wonderful father of Tony (Lynn) of Penticton, B.C. , Bonnie (Wade) of Corner Brook, NFLD. , Tina (Guy) of Dartmouth, NS, Corey (Patricia) of Victoria, B.C. , Neil (Cathy) of Toronto. Very special Poppy to Bradley, Robyn, Ryan, Vanessa, Courtney, Natalie, Kelsey, Bailey, Douglas and Eiryn. Survived by his sister Doris (Richard) of Norris Point, NFLD. , his brother Fred (Kathy) of Harrington, Quebec and many nieces and nephews. Otto will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law, Irene Stoyles, his sisters-in-law Helen Delaney, Frances (George) Pitts, Eleanor (Kevin) King, Rita Proulx, brothers-in-law Ambrose (Madonna) Stoyles, John (Karen) Stoyles. Cremation has taken place. Mr. Laing's family will receive relatives and friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, for memorial visitation on Saturday, November 17, 2001 from 2 p.m. until time of memorial service in the chapel of the funeral home at 3 p.m. with Rev. Ross Gill officiating. Following the service, friends and relatives are invited to the Reception Room of the funeral home for a time of fellowship.
