LAITINEN Arto Laitinen, age 50 years, passed away peacefully with his mother at his side, in TBRHSC, Tuesday, November 20th. Arto was born in Malung, Sweden. He and his parents moved to Port Arthur when he was three years old. They then moved to Longlac, where Arto finished high school. Unfortunately a chronic illness forced Arto to drop out of university and put career plans on hold indefinitely. Arto enjoyed a quiet life with his friends at Pioneer Court for the past 5 years. Arto had a passion for music. He had learned to play the organ, accordian and guitar early in life. He was also a spiritual person of Lutheran Faith. Unfortunately a medical illness of short duration forced Arto to be called early to his Father's home. Arto's family gratefully appreciate all of the help Arto has received over the years. Private services for family and friends is to be held at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor T. Haataja officiating on Monday, November 26th at 3 P.M.
