Leguevel, Henri

Henri Eugene Leguevel age 73 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, died on Tuesday, August 31, 2004. Henri was born and raised in Guegon, France. He immigrated to Canada with his brother Jean in the early 1950's. Henri worked as a bush worker for various companies until he retired. Henri is survived by his brothers Jean and Claude, sisters, Lucie, Bernadette and Julie, all in France and niece Jacqueline Nelson, Thunder Bay as well as numerous other relatives in France. He was predeceased by his parents, Lucie and Thophile Leguevel and brother August, all in France. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel, with Rev. David Gillen officiating. Interment will follow at a later date. If friends desire, memorials to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.A tree will be planted in memory of Henri Leguevel in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.
