John Joseph passed away suddenly in Greely on Monday January 30, 2012 at the age of 66 years. Born January 1, 1946 in Toronto and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Adored husband of Marie (Lafleur). Beloved father to John (Martha), Thunder Bay; Tricia (Gary Littlefield), Thunder Bay; Katie (Ken Shulha), Greely and Rob (Amanda), Greely. Cherished Papa to 6 grandchildren whom he adored: Tessa and Nicholas Littlefield, Sarah and Hannah McClelland, Avery Shulha and Claire McClelland. Also survived b y his 3 sisters, Elaine (Ron Wingrove), Irene (Wayne Hacquoil) and Lyn (Denis Trudeau) as well as his mother-in-law Rita Lafleur and his sister-in-law Cathy (John Mertl). He will also be sadly missed by his daily walking buddy Murphy. Predeceased by his parents, John and Florence McClelland. John worked in the commercial real estate sector of Ottawa for many years, having retired 3 years ago. He loved his travels to Mexico and overseas, his weekly summer golf game and using his considerable woodworking and renovations skills. Family and friends are invited to share their memories and celebrate John's life at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank St. (between Scrivens Dr. and Metcalfe corner) on Thursday, Feb. 2nd, from 2-4 pm.
