LEONARD DAVID MILLERIt is with great sadness, the family of Len announces his unexpected passing on Sunday, October 12, 2003 at age 57. Len attended Pine Street and Hillcrest High School. He worked at Provincial Paper Mill until early retirement in 1996. Since 2001 he worked at Renco Foods. He loved the outdoors and took great pride in tending to his garden, yard and house. He also enjoyed camping and spending Sundays with his family.He loved his dogs Shadow and Puzzle and his home in the country. Len is survived by his loving wife Hilkka of 33 years, son Trevor, daughter Misty (David) Ross and granddaughter Madison, his pride and joy. Len's mother Elsie, brothers George (Shirley) and Roy and sisters Sandra and Fay (Alvin), brothers-in-law Rainer and Veikko Kallio and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. He was predeceased by his father Cecil, sister Christine, and father and mother in law Tauno and Rauni Kallio. We are proud to have shared our lives with Len, a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather. Friends and family are invited to gather on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma.
