Monty, Cecil

On Wednesday, April 19th, 2006 Cecil Monty passed away at St. Joseph's Hospice after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, he owned and operated Rub-A-Dub Drycleaners & Laundromat for many years, then Monty's Variety for three years and after that was employed by B.E.A.R Trucking, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. Cec is survived by his wife Bonnie; two sons Jody (Annie), their boys Jordan, Justin & Nikolas and Aaron (Jen), their children Jazmyn, Seth & Tama; one daughter Jolene (Craig) Tocheri, their boys Braedon & Stephen; three sisters Shirley (Ron) Orr, Janet (Ron) Hughes & Gail (Ray) Belluz; one brother Donald (Doreen). Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Cremation has taken place and according to Cecil's wishes, a private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated.
